As a part of the Bayside Summer Nights series of concerts, this event will feature a breathtaking firework show to the music of renowned Russian composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky, as well as Modest Mussorgsky, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, and Sergei Prokofiev.

No matter if you’re a fan of classical music, or just want to see a spectacular show, this San Diego Labor Day event will be a great experience the whole family won’t soon forget.

Have Some Fun in the Sun & Sand

Where: Broadway Pier and Pavilion

There’s no better way to celebrate the last days of summer in San Diego than spending a day out in the sun building sandcastles with the family. And the U.S. Sand Sculpting Challenge & Dimensional Art Expo will help you do just that.

This 4-day extravaganza will bring 300 tons of sand to the Broadway Pier for an event you won’t be able to experience anywhere else. It’ll feature kid’s activities, as well as sand sculpture classes so you can perfect your sandcastle-building skills for next summer.

World Master Sand Sculptors from all over the globe will be creating incredible, intricate sand sculptures, too. Weighing in at about 10 tons each, they’ll really be a sight to see.

On top of all the sand, this event will include more than 1,000 works of art for sale and live performances from the area’s top tribute bands. To top it all off, you’ll be able to indulge in some fantastic food from the dozens of food trucks at the festival.

Grab a Few Friends for a Fun-Filled Club Crawl
